Cassie enjoys the outdoors I love that cats can join their humans on outdoor adventures like hiking, surfing and boating. Laura Moss’ wonderful book, Adventure Cats, brings these stories to life along with marvellous how-to tips that helped me to leash train my own kitty.

Kringle inspects my library copy of the book What a pleasure to read insights on cat behaviour from Canada’s leading cat behaviourist, Daniel Filion of Montreal, Quebec! It also showed me that there is a great need for information about TNR programs in the French language.
Cinco The other day, my neighbour told me about a friend whose new cat was not adjusting well, forever hiding under the bed. We visited soon after, and I was able to share a lot of ideas that I've learned about cats that might help. I was a cat behaviourist!
Kringle with my library copy of the book I’ve learned a lot watching Jackson Galaxy help transform challenging cats in the TV show, My Cat From Hell, and was thrilled that he has now compiled his essential advice in a book.
Kringle with my library copy of the book It was a tough slog, but I learned that training your cat for important but challenging tasks requires patience. You gradually build up to the motherlode, trimming claws or happily heading to the vet.
Kringle with my library copy of the book Pam Johnson-Bennett is wonderfully generous with secrets from her cat behaviour counselling practice. I loved her earlier book, Think Like a Cat, recommended by our Quebec cat behaviourist Éduchateur, in its French translation! This book is equally excellent.
Kringle with my library copy of the book This book is filled with great advice, but can’t we close the door on using punishment to train cats? There is helpful advice on “Kitty Feng Shui” or creating the right environment, adding another pet, aggression, litter box issues, scratching, and travel and carrier training. These tips are neatly organized and presented attractively.
Kringle inspects my library copy of the book. If you know a reluctant reader with a short attention span, this book might get them interested in learning about cats, but be ready to rebut a bit of bad advice.
